Smaller Wood Stove for the Garage

We decided to replace the giant wood stove in the garage. Since we have a propane furnace in there a large wood stove is not necessary. This small vintage Jotul 602C was found on craglist. It should be much more efficient. I had to refubish it a bit but a little wire brushing, sandblasting and paint brought it back to life. I had to replace the insulation under the base plate since the mineral wool had decomposed. I used some modern high tech stuff call Kaowool. You can see the old stove in the background. It will go to the recyclers next week.
